Its April 2012 alreaday and the number of shows are starting to build up.

I now have 3 main acts. the Buttmonkies are my classic rock band. we do stuff like led zap, deep purple and thin lizzy. the 4 of us that make up the band all play in other acts so this really is a super band. we love what we do and we do it well... the reaction from the punters so far clearly says we are doing something right....

another act i do is Snagglethhto UK, a tribute to Motorhead. this specialist outfit is making good progress in the tribute world and sees us playing the Moxtoer of Rock in June.... look out world - here we come...

My main act is myself. Booking are good and work seems to be in favour of the acoustic act. Htis is good as it means i can be more flexible rather than having to stick to a backing track....

recordingof  my solo ablum has started by picking hte tracdks i'm going to do. 12 originals and a cover will be the final mix. release date will be 12-12-12.....

The diary of a gigging guitarist as I play in venues around the South West of England.

This week I am getting ready for the busy season of live shows with my various bands. Sets of strings everywhere, cable testing, cleaning kit, getting rid of junk and making everything ready to stick in the van and rock.

this weekend eNeRGY are playing at the Purley sports & Social; club in Tadley. eNeRGY are a 3piece fun, uptempo rocking party tunes aband. I will be using my standard set up of a marshall JCM800 + JCM900 square cab. 

Used as stereo input (2x 8ohm) with 1 of the inputs direct and the other is via a Talkbox. Is sounds amazing.

The set is fun and a party is guaranteed.
